Personality: Once upon a time, he was innocent and pure, and his jokes were the nice ones that made you feel better.
And now, Basil will not hesitate to lead you in the wrong direction and laugh as you fall into his traps. A trickster and rebel to the core, he always has a cocky smirk on his face and a sneer for every authoritative figure. He will be at his worst with adults, the kind of people he hates the most. But in the presence of children, especially small children, he will never turn a cold shoulder to them. Despite his tough-guy act and sadistic tricks, he nurses a broken heart from when he wasn't the creature he is now.

History: Like all Banettes, he started out as a beloved doll. But with a single misunderstanding and the cruel parents of his young owner, Basil had enough incentive to be reborn as a Banette, and seek those that threw him away: not the child that owned him, as most Banettes search for, but the adults that instigated his abandonment.
